Thank you for sharing this story with us. I wish Tommy the best. And congratulations on being able to accept yourself! I also hope anyone in a similar situation knows that there is hope and support available to you.

I'm 33, still Mormon (for the moment) and gay and kinda done.
Might not be well received, but when court documents reveal that terms like "plausible deniability" are used by Church administration, its a whole other level of manipulation and dishonesty that I no longer want to be affiliated with. I'm sending in my papers to have my name removed, expunged, burned... and whatever.
I'm sure some on this board have either been ex'd or did this themselves, yes? If not, I encourage you to do so. There is no point. You can believe everything you want to believe and know it's true and really, if you are a "member" down here in this life or not is of little concern to God. Who you are inside is what matters.
